I'm Sarah — photographer, guide, and professional excuse-maker for being somewhere remote at 5am. Whether you're chasing golden hour from a canyon rim or snorkeling alongside humpback whales, every expedition I lead is small-group, hands-on, and built to push you somewhere you wouldn't go alone.

Current expeditions include the Outer Banks Photography Workshop — five days photographing lighthouses, coastal marshes, and Milky Way skies in North Carolina — and the Grand Turk Humpback Whale Snorkel Adventure, a six-day in-water wildlife encounter in Turks & Caicos during peak March migration. Both are small-group, hands-on, and led with the kind of personalized attention you won't find on tours.

WHO I AM
Corporate said climb the ladder. I climbed Everest instead.
I'm Sarah. I have a math degree and was climbing the corporate ladder as hard as anyone else. Then a personal wake-up call changed everything. I decided I was done spending my days in conference rooms and on calls that went nowhere.
So I quit. Started my own business helping new business owners get found and get traction. And started traveling — a lot. Solo trips. Halfway around the world trips. Trekked to Everest Base Camp. Hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim in a single day. Got scuba certified. Bought a sailboat. I stopped dreaming about the life I wanted and started actually living it.
The only regret I have is not doing it sooner.
I know firsthand what travel does to a person. It builds confidence. It shifts your perspective. It sparks creativity, builds resilience, and reconnects you with who you actually are — away from the noise, the inbox, and the routine. Research backs it up.
